We Need Your Shoes!
Tens of thousands of dogs — mostly beagles — along with ferrets, cats, guinea pigs, and mini-pigs are sold to laboratories for experimentation and research. Beagle Lovers & Rescuers (BLR) is raising awareness and funds through a Shoe Drive Fundraiser that turns old shoes into new hope.
Do you have shoes sitting in your closet that you no longer wear? Donate them! All types and sizes of wearable shoes are accepted — sneakers, boots, heels, cleats, and sandals. Stains or light scuffs are perfectly fine as long as they’re still usable.
Your shoe donations will be collected through Funds2Orgs, which supports families in developing countries by helping them build small micro-enterprises. This means your extra shoes don’t just stay out of landfills — they help people around the world put food on the table and provide clothing and shelter for their families. By donating your gently used shoes, you’ll be helping Beagle Lovers & Rescuers continue its mission to end the breeding and use of animals for laboratory testing.
